Book-In-Focus: Dancing in the Fire or Fighting for Life: A True Story About a Living God

May 8, 2020

Why did this happen to me?

What did I do wrong?

Where are You, my Lord?

When will You answer me and heal me?

These are the questions that someone who is facing the biggest obstacle in their life will ask. Even the most faithful of God's children are not immune to these questions when in the midst of the most trying times.

When author and holistic health practitioner, Lyubov Oberemok, suddenly fell ill and was later diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, she asked these questions too. Her disease did not only bring sickness to her body, but it also took a toll on her mind, heart, and spirit. With her physical illness, she suffered from anxiety, depression, fear, and bitterness. Amidst the pain, she called out to God for answers.

Faithful is He, God sent the Holy Spirit not only to lead Oberemok to answers but also to healing and restoration. In her book, Dancing in the Fire or Fighting for Life: A True Story About a Living God, she writes about her personal miracles and how God has revealed himself during the most difficult time of her life.

This is a story about God's faithfulness to His children. Oberemok's personal encounter with God as she was facing the highest mountain in her life is a testament to the promises of God and proof that He is faithful to those promises. This book is for those who are looking for guidance and encouragement in facing the hardest test and fire their lives. It is also for those who are supporting loved ones who are going through seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Dancing in the Fire or Fighting for Life: A True Story About a Living God shows us that it is not wrong to ask God the honest questions that we have. What matters is that we continually seek Him even in our darkest moments because it is He who can bring us back into the light.

Reviews and What Readers Say

" God’s goodness, favour and mercy was with Lyubov. Her belief in a healing from God was unshakeable. God showed up in Lyubov’s life, the enemy couldn’t stop her healing, or God’s plans for her life. God showed up in her life, did what couldn’t be done on her own. Obstacles and opposition was everywhere. Lyubov was in the middle of a miracle. God was restoring her health~this is her testimony!Psalms 102:3,4 When we face sickness and disparities, not only our food, but our lives become tasteless. In these times, God alone is our comfort and strength. Even when we re too weak to fight, we can lean on him, it is often through our weaknesses that God’s greatest strength is made available. The Living Bible."
